This seminar teaches the student effective techniques in order to leave the body and travel with just the consciousness.

For some people the separation of the emotional self from the physical body is instinctive, but nevertheless it is still difficult to guide and use experientially. The aim of this experimentation is to contact a dimension that is normally only known through dreams. It is a space in which what is normal and what is paranormal fuse together and activate new faculties in the human being.

Learning to 'separate' also increases inner security; for example, it is possible to overcome the fear of death, to become more aware of existence beyond the physical body and to overcome the limits in perception imposed by life in the physical form.

The Course in Astral Travel provides a philosophical foundation and basic understanding of the mechanisms and potentialities of 'separating'. According to Damanhur’s philosophy the human being is a 'bridge-creature' that exists on many different planes, from the material to the spiritual.

Besides theoretical sessions, the course also includes tried and tested practical experiences that are suitable for everyone. Each session is conducted by highly experienced instructors.
