Damanhur is located in Northwestern Italy, 40 km. north of Turin, 15 km. from Ivrea. The closest town to Damanhur's central settlement is called Baldissero Canavese. On a map it can be found near Castellamonte.

Are you flying?

Turin (TRN) is the closest airport, situated about 45 minutes by car from Damanhur. We will provide transportation to and from Torino's and/or Milano's airports onlu for groups or for those individuals who are participating to the 3 or 7 day programs.

If you wish to take public transport from Turin, you have to take:

  1. a shuttle from the airport to the Turin train station: shuttle schedule
  2. a train from Turin to Ivrea: train schedules
  3. a taxi or bus from Ivrea to Damanhur

If you cannot fly into Turin, fly to Milan-Malipensa (MPX), a major international airport situated about an hour and half drive from Damanhur.

If you wish to take public transport from Milan, you have to take:

  1. a shuttle from the airport to the Milan central train station: shuttle schedule
  2. a train from Milan to Ivrea: train schedules
  3. a taxi or bus from Ivrea to Damanhur

Please note that Milano Orio al Serio (Bergamo, BGY) and Linate (LNT) airports are two-and-a-half hour drives away from Damanhur! If you fly into these airports, we cannot arrange to pick you up, and you will need to reach Damanhur using public transport.

The closest station is Ivrea. Take a taxi or bus from Ivrea to Baldissero Canavese(Damanhur)

Driving here?

The closest exit to us off the A5 autostrada which connects Turin and Aosta is Ivrea. The drive from Ivrea exit to Damanhur takes about 20 minutes.

  • Right after the Ivrea exit, drive towards Castellamonte.
  • Follow the road, and after approximately 9 kms, turn right, always following the signs for Castellamonte.
  • After 1.5 kms, turn right again, in the direction of Baldissero, Damanhur.
  • After 2 kms. on your left, you'll see the large yellow sign Nation of Damanhur.
If you are driving from Milano
Take the exit towards: SACCO/MALPENSA/TANGENZIALE/ATOSTRADE
Take Cavalcavia del Ghisallo Head towards: E66/TORINO/A50/TANGENZIALE OVEST/E35/A1/BOLOGNA E62 A7/GENOVA
